برگزارکنندگان مراسم BAFTA Games Awards 2021 به طور رسمی، نامزدهای این دوره در هر بخش را اعلام کردند که بازی The Last of Us Part II بیشترین تعداد نامزدی را در اختیار دارد.
در این دوره از مراسمی که توسط آکادمی بفتا برای بازی‌های ویدیویی برگزار می‌شود، بازی The Last of Us Part II با تعداد ۱۳ نامزدی، رکورد جدیدی در تاریخ این مراسم به جای گذاشت. پیش از این دو بازی Control و Death Stranding هر کدام با یازده نامزدی رکورددار بودند.
پس از اثر تحسین‌شده‌ی استودیوی Naughty Dog دو بازی Ghost of Tsushima و Spider-Man: Miles Morales به ترتیب با ۱۰ و ۷ نامزدی، پیشتازهای مراسم BAFTA Games Awards 2021 هستند.
